As a Wash/Detail & Maintenance Manager, you will:
 
  • Manage daily operations of the department, ensuring all RVs are cleaned and detailed to high standards, including washing, waxing, and interior cleaning.
  • Oversee building maintenance tasks including but not limited to HVAC system checks and repair, plumbing repairs, electrical maintenance, facility cleaning, and general upkeep of the facility's exterior and interior areas; conduct routine inspections to ensure a safe and well-maintained work environment.  
  • Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features daily to minimize liability concerns and to ensure excellent curb appeal at all times
  • Maintain a well-organized work environment within the shop while promoting safety standards and OSHA guidelines
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures, ensuring all policies are followed.
  • Hire, train, and lead a team of wash and detail technicians and valet/porters, fostering a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Organize the wash and detailing schedules, and coordinate move requests for storage customers, working with the corporate office to monitor storage levels.
  • Conduct inspections and approve units for customer release, ensuring adherence to our high-quality standards.
  • Address customer concerns and work with sales and service departments to provide superior customer service.
  • Manage billing processes and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, ordering as necessary.
 
Qualifications:
 
  • High school diploma or equivalent work-related experience
  • 5-10 years of leadership experience in customer service, preferably in RV washing and detailing or a related field  
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in building maintenance and repair or managing a preventative maintenance program
  • Must be or can become OSHA Forklift Certified
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop employees
  • Team Manager of large crew - This is not a desk job; you will be working with your team for most of the day 
  • Proficiency with Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent multitasking and communication skills
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable working outdoors, often in/around water
  • Adaptability to change in a growing company, with strong attention to safety and surroundings.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Willingness to work weekends if needed
  • Positive and can-do attitude, with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Must pass a drug test, background check and be legally able to work in the USA
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Will require working weekends or holidays
